Published on Apr 19, 2012
By Lim Yan Liang

Residents left their valuables near their flat windows overnight, only to discover them missing the next morning.

On Wednesday afternoon, police arrested a 26-year-old man after spotting him in the vicinity of Block 633B, Senja Road.

His identity had been established following an investigation after two housebreaking reports were made between March 20 and April 10.

An electronic notebook, a micro SD card, a notebook adapter and an invoice from a known electronic store were seized in a subsequent raid on his flat.

Police said that based on preliminary investigations, the suspect is believed to be involved in other related cases.
