The police arrested a 34-year-old man for suspected involvement in loansharking activities on Thursday afternoon.
Officers from the Crime Strike Force of Bukit Merah Neighbourhood Police Centre, Central Police Division were on anti-crime rounds in the vicinity of Telok Blangah Crescent when they spotted a man behaving suspiciously.
The police found four bank cards, believed to be loanshark-related paraphernalia, in the man's possession.
The items were seized and the man was subsequently arrested for suspected involvement in loansharking activities.
