Police arrest 16-year-old for series of obscene acts in Choa Chu Kang

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 16-year-old male who is believed to have committed a series of obscene acts in Choa Chu Kang.
The police said in a statement today (June 15) that they received a report on May 16 of a man exposing himself to a female victim near Block 708 in Choa Chu Kang Kang Street 53. Officers from the Jurong Police Division conducted ground inquiries to establish the identity of the suspect, and arrested him today in Choa Chu Kang Street 51.
Investigations show that the suspect could also be involved in four similar cases in the neighbourhood.
The teenager will be charged in court tomorrow. If convicted, he could be fined, jailed for up to three months, or both, the police said.
