This is what PM Lee said in his virgin comment about the minibonds:
"First of all the government should not be making decision for individuals, individuals should have the right to decide for themselves, their circumstances, their preferences, their needs. And secondly, the government is not in the position to guarantee what is safe and what is not safe, because there is nothing that is 100% safe"
Firstly, haven't the government has been making decision for individuals, like keeping our CPF from us. Secondly, are we to expect that our CPF is not 100% safe too?
