Pls don’t tell people that you spend millions to buy property but your property is always flooded during monsoon surge. It is extremely shameful

Jurong West sees 318mm of rain during monsoon surge, surpassing Singapore's March average

The intersection of Mountbatten Road and Jalan Seaview was also flooded for two hours on Thursday (Mar 20).

SCDF should declare these houses as dangerous and not fit for human. Pls knock them off to protect human lives

Most flood insurance coverage is not automatically included in the premiums but also as an additional option….so good luck to those who wanted to save a few bucks after spending a few $m

And please don't start saying that this is all due to 'climate change'. It's even more shameful.

Tell this to our Ridout Maharaja Snake Shan. Him and his slaves at MHA are responsible for this.

Making multi-millions, yet still can't solve the flooding problem. All of them are sleeping on the job like pampered babies.

Low SES HDB dweller please mind your own low SES business
There is absolutely nothing shameful about staying at Jalan Seaview since some of the bungalows there are valued at $12 million each. HDB dwellers must be really proud living in pigeon holes provided on a leasehold by the govt.

These kind of terrace houses are no different compared with JiuHu
天天淹水

That is why I always choose the ground floor of my properties on a raised level of at least 1 storey (compared to their surroundings), even for my HDB.

So car kenna water, breaks down, who can we claim? Poor drainage? Too many builds bringing sea water level up or no more grass to drain water?

PAP build and build something many urban structures until the island is sinking...FUCK PAP!

The South East Asian bummies all used to build houses on stilts for good reasons.
