Two different customer service experiences

ON SUNDAY, I was at Plaza Singapura shopping for groceries at the Carrefour hypermarket, when I noticed that the entire stock of Toblerone One By One Assortment Pack had expired in May.
I took a box of the expired product and approached a member of the security staff. He accompanied me to the customer service counter, where there were two staff members who seemed disinterested in serving me.
I explained to them that the product had expired and recommended that they take the matter up with the management, so as to remove the product from the shelf for safety reasons. They simply stared through me. I walked away, feeling disappointed with the standard of customer service.
Later that same afternoon, I realised after leaving the cinema, that a stack of namecards had dropped out of the pocket of my trousers when I was watching a movie at Golden Village Plaza.
I rushed back to the cinema to seek the service crew's assistance in recovering my namecards, but we were unable to locate them where I was last seated.
I recognised the man who had cleaned the hall I was in and asked him about my namecards. He said he remembered seeing them and rushed to retrieve a trash bag. The service crew joined in to help the cleaner rummage through the trash and my namecards were found.
I am very appreciative of the effort put in by service crew members Azri and Ruby, as well as cleaner Wang. They went the extra mile when they could have simply declined any assistance.
I hope the GV management would convey my gratitude to them and recognise their effort in providing excellent customer service.
