KUALA LUMPUR - Playtime's over for a sex shop owner after police raided his premises and seized dozens of sex toys and stimulants.
A 71-year-old man was arrested when a police team headed by Insp Mohd Hatta raided the premises along Jalan Walter Grenier, Off Jalan Imbi at 11.55pm on Wednesday.
Police also seized numerous condoms and sex stimulant pills for men and women which were not certified by the Health Ministry.
Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Zainuddin Ahmad said the shop was selling the items to walk-in customers as well to those who ordered via the Internet.
Among the items seized were battery and non-battery powered male and female sex toys of various shapes and sizes.
It is learnt that most of the products were manufactured in China.
Meanwhile, police also nabbed a man in his 30s and confiscated 472 notes believed to be counterfeit US$100 notes with a face value totalling more than RM100,000 (S$40,144.70)during an operation around Kuala Lumpur.
"The man was arrested at around 6pm on Thursday along Jalan Tun Ismail while he was carrying the notes in his bag," ACP Zainuddin said.
The man has been remanded for further investigation.
