WHEN the same woman bumped into her twice at a shopping centre in Harbourfront, the 22-year-old thought nothing of it.
But an hour later at 5pm on Saturday, the younger woman discovered her $1,200 mobile phone was missing from her bag.
Two front pockets on her bag were also unzipped.
The theft took place in a departmental store in Vivocity. The pickpocket is a woman in her 50s with a short build and black hair.
She was last seen wearing a black blouse and slacks. If you have information about the incident, please call the police hotline at 1800-255-0000.

A LIGHT-FINGERED thief made off with more than $100 in alcohol - 30 cans of beer in all - from a Bukit Batok supermarket on Friday.
At 2.55pm, a security guard at the supermarket in Block 154A Bukit Batok Street 11 saw a man lug five 6-pack cartons of beer towards the detergent and laundry items section of the store.
The man then loaded the beer into a large red plastic bag and made to flee the store. The security guard gave chase, but lost sight of the thief at Bukit Batok West Avenue 2.
The thief is a dark-skinned man last seen wearing a white shirt, blue trousers and cap. If you have information about the incident, please call the police hotline at 1800-255-0000.

I am impressed that someone carrying 30 cans of beer can get away from the security guards
