Thai national in trouble over ‘racist’ remarks against PH

A Thai national living in the Philippines for over three years now is in hot water over “racist” remarks he made on social media regarding Filipinos and his host country.

The backlash by netizens on Kosin Prasertsri remarks has even pushed his employer to issue an official statement on May 3.

Cognizant Technology Solutions Philippines, through its Facebook page, said it has already initiated internal interventions for Prasertsri to face the consequences of his actions.

As of this writing, Cognizant Philippines has yet to reply to Manila Bulletin queries on the issue at hand.

Prasertsri, who goes by the name Koko Narak on Facebook, posted remarks which many netizens found as racist and offensive to Filipinos.

Reports say that he used the Facebook community organization named ASEAN Community to bash Filipinos.

On February 16, he posted three photos taken inside a fitness center located in a mall at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. He captioned the photos with “Look at slave slum low class Pignoy asks all their ancestors to eat for free”.

Prasertsri also described the Filipinos as “stupid creatures” and “useless people on earth” in separate Facebook comments.

In another Facebook comment, he voiced out his observation about the Philippines and Filipinos, who he repeatedly called “Pignoys”.

Also on February 16, Prasertsri felt “scared” to be medically checked up by a Filipino doctor. “May I have a check up with any doctors who are not from the medical school from the Philippines?”

According to Prasertsri, Filipinos are not fit to do corporate or administration jobs but as maids, calling them “toilet lickers”.

A Filipino fast food was also criticized by the Thai national.

In another screenshot which appeared to be one of Prasertsri’s Facebook post, he said: “If I were a Hitler, I would kill all Filipinos on this earth. Since it is a useless race on this world. No quality of population. Fuck, fuck, fuck and fuck producing babies to be street beggars, security guards holding guns. It is useless people on earth and waste the natural resources.”

The ASEAN Community confirmed that Prasertsri has extended his apology to the Filipinos.

Cool Buster website was able to copy the letter before the Thai national left the ASEAN Community in Facebook and turned his Facebook page’s setting to private, disabling the public to see his posts.

Below is the full apology letter or Prasertsri courtesy of Cool Buster:

To All Filipinos on this page!

This is my great sorrow to inform you that I am very sorry what I’ve done or posted the racist comments wheter on the Asean page or my personal facebook.

No matter the comments I have done are either from my intention or my playfullness. Kindly accept my apology.

At the first sight of my intention to join this page, I came across just to do the debate only. I didn’t mean to hurt your heart Filipinos. Surprisingly, mosts of my debates on the page hurt you because of my imaturity.

This is my sincere apology to all of you Filipinos.

What I would like to inform you is, I am not feeling scared of the post or the blog. But I am feeling scared of brokening all Filipinos’ heart here. Many comments that I posted on the page are kind of playful more than my intention to be racist to all Filipinos.

Back to the past, I had many Filipino friends in my school plus I had Filipinos teachers. I would like to let you guys know that I am not that kind of person as you see on the page. I am not trying to say I am good or perfect or make an excuse. But at least, I have many Filipino friends here. I have helped them their financial problem. Many of my friends had no milk to feed their children, no rental monthly, no electricity and no food. I am the one who had helped them with my heart. Bcos I know how they were feeling at that time. I used to be cheated as well. Plus, I always share my happiness to them buying snack, toy and etc to share with the children as I can handle. I am such a pityful person even I sometime have a negative prejudice on Filipinos.

I am not trying to request your sympatize to me but I am trying all dear Filipinos here to think of me in another way. I am very an approachable guy spending my life as Filipinos do, hanging out with friends at the cheap place, singing videoke like Filipinos, buying cloths from Changke. I hope you Filipinos will understand and accept my apology.

Feedback from my company, I have talked and discussed regarding the situation already and I got penalty what I had done. I am deserved it I know. Hope you guys kindly accept my apology since Filipinos are well known to be kind and friendly. Am I right? I might move from here to another branch abroad not in The Philippines anymore but I hope that you will welcome me whenever I come back. I wish I could be welcome from you guys Filipinos.

Finally, once I post this apology to you. I will unlike on this page and never come back again. This is my sincere responsibility and I will handle all by myself everything I have done. Please do not drag my company Cognizant to be the victim or hostage for the situation since I love Cognizant so much. It is one of the best company here I have ever joined with. It is the company I join the longest among those companies when I was in Thailand.

I think I have clarified everything already to all Filipinos. Hope this apology will be notified you guys.

In January 2015, a Filipino nurse in Singapore was dismissed by his employer, Tan Tong Sek Hospital, over his various posts, which came as offensive to Singaporeans and religion, on different Social Media sites.

Hey.. I'd like to say that there are stupid ignorant people everywhere. Don't be upset or take it seriously from 1 person's remark. It's such ashamed for me to see a stupid, arrogant Thai acting like frog in your country. He clearly never travels or lives abroad before thinking Thailand is such a great country. But anyway, please don't take it as a racial/national issue. He doesn't represent Thailand, not a slightest bit. I can guarantee you that majority of Thai people don't look down on Filipinos based on my friend's experience living in Bkk. I'd say that there are idiots like this anywhere but Thailand probably got a lot since the education here is so lagging behind. As we're all ASEANers, we should help each other and grow together, not attack one another. There are people outside, many probably looking down on us as a whole. It matters more to show the world what we can accomplice. And it is more possible if we collaborate, not fight against each other.

I can imagine as ASEAN countries become closer, there surely are more of these negative attitudes throwing at each other just like what also happens with the EU. Before we probably didn't have so much interactions, people were less aware of the each other. Now it is quite different. Just hope the positive collaboration outweighs the negative aspects of becoming closer.

....Just a thought from a Thai.

I am also an American (born at Clark) much of what the guy said was true.... just the words he used was not the best. Most Americans here dont want a local doctor touching them. People go to Makati Medical so they can get US style treatment.

Maybe you should have tried the cool-aid. I think you are not much better than the Thai that made the bad remarks. You think you can say what ever you want and hide behind the Bill of Rights. That doesn't always work. If you say what you really feel there will be people hunting you. Then cry freedom of speech and see if it helps you.

Is kissing ass a requirement for residency here? I do not believe so. I will speak my mind here and in the States. I was raised to be straight up and tell it how it is.... No bullshitting allowed in our home.

The Philippines has some very serious problems and pretending they don't exist is not the answer.

Much of what the Thai said is true, he just didn't did not say it a way that could produce a discussion. He used the wrong words.

I can BUT I hate Tagalog with a passion. What economical value does it have? Fill a form and you use English. Go to Court and they use English. Read a sign and it is in English. You have to speak it to get a job. Everything we do is in English but we tell people to speak tagalog....makes no sense.

Hahaha, What?
You know it is very simple to understand Filipinos. I am one.
Some of us were born Poor by our Poor parents and its a Part of our Eco-System.
Its not our Fault if were born poor.
Most of us don't have the possibility to go to School because for us Family is more Important rather than our Education. Kids at their early Age decides to stay at Home and help their Parents, there is no enough Money anyway to go to School.

We help the household.
We do the Cooking.
We do the Laundry.
We do the Cleaning.
We also do the Babysitting for our younger siblings.

We have our Dreams, we have our Ambitions, We try...... but if there is no possibility given, why Force?
If given the Chance, many of us are grabbing it and many of us became Successful.

It is somehow bothering me that you people are Judging our Doctors in the Philippines.
We may not have the High Technology Equipment what you have because we are not be able to afford it, it does not mean that we are
not competent on helping People regarding their Health Problems.

It is very Strange that many Countries likes to Employ Filipinos.

Maybe because:
We are paid Cheaper.
Maybe It doesnt matter if they put us in a very Dangerous Job, because were just Filipinos?
Maybe they can just do whatever they want to us?

or maybe they knew that

We are giving not only our Effort but our Hearts in our Jobs for the Reason that there are People back home who needs Support from us, for them not walk on the same path that we did.
For them to have the Chance to go to School and try to make a Somebody out of a Nobody. Not all but some.

In any other country, there are people who are given Chances because they were Accepted.
There are also many who has no Interest on making something better for their Lives.

Its just a Matter of Choices And Chances.

So please Stop judging. Step on our Shoes.
Accept the Reality.
Your lucky for being who you are now.
I wish you every goodness in Life.

Being born and raised in any place is not enough reason to stay in that place if you don't like it. And from your responses, I can only discern that you obviously feel disdain, to say the least, towards the Philippines, its culture and people. You say you are educated and you sound like you actually have money to go and live somewhere else. And yet, you chose to stay and invest in the country. I just wonder, why?

Only people with psychological problems would choose to stay in a place that disgusts them, and surrounded by people they don't like. So it makes me wonder why you're still in the Philippines. You're an American, and you obviously think America and everything American is way superior than anything remotely Filipino. So, why don't you just live and invest your money in America?

The Philippines has enough problems as it is, and it would be a win-win situation for everyone, especially for you if you just leave the country. Is the money that you earn in "despicable" Philippines with "filthy" Filipinos that good that you'd rather stay in the country which, reading how you describe it, is actually your personal hell? Or maybe you have masochistic tendencies that you actually enjoy being miserable everyday in "wretched" Philippines and "no-good" Filipinos? Please enlighten me, because I really can't understand why you are still in the Philippines when obviously you have no love for the country, the culture and the people.

And by the way, I will tell this to your face if I ever meet you in person, no matter how big you are.

Have you read what you've written? You criticize everything, from the President, to doctors, the culture, and the people. I'm not saying that the Philippines or its culture and people are perfect. Far from it. But I have yet to see a positive comment from you regarding the country or its people. But I guess that would be too much since, and let me quote your reply to William Eberline somewhere in this thread... "Much of what he said was true...... I am in the country but love and
respect pinoys? No thanks. Guess what? The freedom of speech is still
alive.... I think...."

And you're asking me why I think you have disdain towards the country? Or by country, are you only referring to the landmass, the surrounding seas and its natural resources? What comprises the country anyway? Isn't it the culture and its people, which in your own words you have ZERO respect and no love?

http://philippinefailblog.com/filipino-a-culture-of-proud-freeloaders/

Filipino: A Culture Of Proud Freeloaders!

I’ve touched on this subject many times and I cant stress enough how much I hate it. It’s this freeloading crab mentality that I see amongst Filipinos who feel no shame in taking money from you, no shame in putting you in debt and financially ruining you for their own gain, No shame in robbing you of your free spirit and future, no shame at all. Actually it’s another one of their pride slogans that they use for their Pinoy pride BS saying they are so family oriented and supportive, but I tell you what I see, I see freeloading and the robbery of successful OFWs and Native Filipino’s alike.

The thing that sickens me the most is the parents who fuck like jack rabbits, procreate like roaches and can’t afford to wipe their own ass with toilet paper let alone feed themselves or their children and yet never learn and continue this trend of dumb-fuckery until they are forced to beg from their children.

I guess its true that Filipinos lack learning from mistakes. They prefer that brief moment of pleasure instead of being responsible and thinking of the consequences of their actions. Then they desperately scramble to replace the term “exploit” with “culture” and there you have it. A soft name to replace child exploitation. I think many of us can agree that we bare some responsibility for our parents, but what makes Filipino culture vastly different is the fact that parents and relatives want far more than just a little help here and there and I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

Example: I remember so well, when my wife and I were financially struggling and those parasite pimps (parents) of hers were demanding money like she owed them. I’ve asked her this question dozens of times and I get the same bullshit excuse. I ask her “if they were able to survive all this time without you and your money, than why the hell cant they do it now?” And it’s the same response ,”my dad is working less”. And I bet he’s working less intentionally so he can sit around and freeload. Is it a coincidence that they are suddenly broke when their daughters went abroad? I think not. And why the fuck do children owe a life long debt to these pimps when a lot of them don’t even make much money for themselves? It’s a culture of parasite tendencies and it spreads like wild fire effecting everyone. How does it effect everyone you ask? I’ll explain.

This freeloading culture of parasites and roaches specialize in depleting resources from everyone and everything. It starts with 2 dumb fucks who cant learn from their mistakes, they keep procreating and thus start a culture of freeloading. Children either work and handover money in the Philippines or abroad because they have to pay for their parents mistakes. Simple as that. One little mistake of not pulling out in time costs a Filipino child life long labor and money hand outs. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

Next they come to first world nations, get a PR and within a couple months they continue the vicious cycle of breeding. How does it cost us tax payers in socialist countries? Well these OFWs don’t even need a citizenship to get a tax hand out. So come to a first world, work for 2 yrs and boom, PR and money hand outs and you get to stay in the country. So what do a lot of them do as soon as they get that PR? They fuck like jack rabbits and create off spring galore and get their hand outs per child all picked out of 1st world citizens pockets.

But it doesn’t end there, they get their time off during pregnancy and more money handouts, plus welfare if they need it and dozens of other handouts. Hell, they even get grants for school, holy shit! Not even a citizen and 1st worlders pay for it! I personally think there is a huge agenda here with government and big corporations to open the gates for specifically Filipinos because they are cheap and easy to control and know English as a second language. I see it Happening rapidly where many Canadians (where I’m from) are getting replaced with cheap pinoy labor.

What does it end up doing to the economy? I’ll tell you what. One of the highest unemployment rates in the history of Canada. We have had a recession present, since 2008 and since then I’ve seen a flood of immigration and jobs getting taken up by non Canadian citizens. The worst part of it is the remittance (money transfers). The vicious cycle of freeloading further destroys 1st world nations economic stability.

All that money OFWs make barely gets spent within the country. Instead it’s thrown away to the disfunctional wast whole Philippines. It’s a culture of depleting 1st world resources and handing it over to the Philippines. Now don’t get me wrong, it is commonly essential so send some money back home to help the families who are struggling, but keep in mind, non of these bullshit problems would effect 1st worlds and OFWs if Filipino natives stopped breeding like roaches without thinking of the consequence. Can’t the men at least learn how to pull out in time? I mean come on, you can’t learn how to do that after the 4th, 5th kid?

The worst part of the remittence is the fact that it’s commonly wasted on parasite relatives who blow it all on useless shit. Either a big tv, some useless merchandise or a failing business or simply booze or gambling. It’s no different than the native reserves in North America. Although I totally empathize with the Indians, a welfare state has only worsened their situation. We all hear about it or see it. They get their social check and then blow it all on bingo and booze and continue that vicious cycle of uselessness. They have lost purpose and lack motivation because we as tax payers are forced to contribute to this. I have only heard of one successful native reserve in Canada where natives are working hard and making their own money. That’s a drop in the bucket and it looks as though Philippines is far worse. Is there really an improvement for the natives when they get school paid for, free money for fun, money for a house and land, money for a business? From all the stories I’ve heard and research I’ve done, it breeds freeloading parasites an creates a welfare state of gigantic proportions.

So why is Philippines considered such a unworthy, petty country? It all makes sense. The country and it’s people are dragging everyone down. They drag their OFW children down, they drag western countries economy down, they ruin and drag marriages down (which I’m experiencing now), they use social systems and drag them down, they drag each other down, and this vicious cycle of crab mentality continues endlessly because of the simple act of not learning how to at least pull out in time.

And I hate the bullshit excuses I hear about “oh, we don’t have contraceptives, we don’t have condoms” or even better yet, like my wife says,”it’s a blessing to have a child”. So it’s a blessing to bring a child into a waste hole country? It’s a blessing to bring a child into the world when you cant even afford it? It’s a blessing to live in worse poverty now because you have extra mouths to feed? It’s a blessing to freeload off of other smarter people because of your stupid mistakes? It’s a blessing to fuck a guy without caution and later have a baby that he doesn’t want? There is no blessing in wondering how you’re going to get by the next day and whether you can feed your child or not!

So why the fuck do OFWs, 1st world nations, charity givers need to help these people when they just keep making the same bloody mistakes? It’s nothing more than a black hole of mistakes sucking everyone and everything down with it. The insanely sad part of all this is that even if the remittence gravy train of money stopped for all these Pinoys, even if there were no charities or anything else to help them, they would still make the same bloody stupid mistakes. So shouldn’t the country and it’s people be left alone to drown in their self induced mess? Is the Darwin theory correct? Is natural selection prevalent in this situation? If an animal from the litter is weaker and pulling everyone down, that animal is the first to go. If this were true for the Philippines, would it improve the country?

The problem stops when they learn not to have kids unless they can afford them, until then, they will continue to drag themselves and everyone else down with them including their own country. People learn to quit smoking. Many succeed. How about at least learning how to pull out in time? If only Filipino natives knew the domino effect they were causing, maybe they would think twice before having 10 mins of pleasure!

At least read the paragraphs in red. Then read them again. Then read them some more. Notice anything familiar in Singapore?

Philippines used to belong to China and Chinese pulled out to leave them alone.

Now we know why?

The Spanish did not find Chinese in the Philippines. The Dutch and Portuguese did not find Chinese on Taiwan when they landed there.

Another reason y php is the way it is must be due to the fact that the chinese who settled there r majority hokkeins..look at manila. 99% cina there r all hokkeins..must b the spreading of hokkein attitudes like Kiasu Kiasee kiam siup. Si mai been (die dont want face) tat makes the pinoys so happy to b parasites.
Could be named after a Cantonese philantrophist: 譚通吃. :o

The company I was working with had a branch office in Manila. When the Spore GM visited the place he had to have body guards because one of the dealers there had made threats:eek:

There were also other problems. The manager of the Makati office deciding not to turn up for work. She didn't submit a letter of resignation, just stopped coming to work. I guess that is how they do things in the Philippines.

Today we have millions of them in Spore. Some of them are mistreating our old & insulting Sporeans. In the past they came as maids so the damage done was limited. However now that they occupy more senior positions & they can really screw up big time.

I doubt things will ever be as good in Spore as in the past. At least I have lived through Spore's golden age:smile:
