I believe that very soon, there may be a campaign for "Any one but CCS"
It appears that senior members of a political party and several of their next generation of leaders are not in touch with the ground.
Gone are the days, when school children play snd interact with others regardless of race, ethnic background or family background. I believe that a majority of the scholars live a sheltered life, and appears unable to appreciate the life of commoners and the challenges they faced. Worse, is that there are increasing numbers who returned from overseas universities, and at a relatively young age, are promoted to senior decision making positions in the civil service.
There are undesirable issues arising from the continuing emphasis on scholars and the perception that scholars are exceptional and are considered to be outstanding officers with civil service and uniformed services.
