STOMPfan was annoyed not just because this man was sleeping with his legs stretched out on the train seats, but more by the strange odour coming from his feet. He says:

"A man was seen sleeping in this position this afternoon from Jurong East all the way to Yishun station.

"Although there is not much of a crowd on the MRT during this time and there are many seats available, but is that the way to sleep?

"And there was a weird odour coming from his feet.

"I'm not trying to say that you cannot sleep on the MRT, but come on la, take into consideration that people will be sitting on the seats that your legs are placed on, it is not very hygienic!

"And take into consideration the people around you, the smell is really killing us.

"So stop doing that!

"I know you people will say just move away, but this is not the solution, so what if we move away, will it solve the problem?

"For us in the train yes, it will be a better journey to the destination, but if everyone were to do that, what will happen to Singapore?"

STOMPer Blueasher says this woman puts her feet up in the bus so that other commuters cannot sit on the empty seat beside her.

He says:

"I noticed this lady had an interesting way to relaxing herself on bus 157 yesterday afternoon.

"I have seen pictures of people resting their legs on the seats but this was the first time I came across someone resting her legs on the door screen handle.

"The funny thing was how she managed to balance her legs so straight even when she was napping.

"It reminds me of those carpark barriers whereby you have to pay if you want to pass.

"And in this case, it is to have the empty seat next to her."

A STOMPer says the seats on this train carriage had been removed to create more space, but these youths were blocking the way instead by sitting on the floor.

"It defeats the purpose of having the seats removed. Instead of creating more space, these kids sat on the floor and blocked the way for other commuters trying to pass through," he says.

STOMPer Selina was horrified when she saw this woman resting her feet on the seat opposite her. She questions if social courtesy still exists today.

She says:

“I was horrified when this woman put her feet up on the seat opposite her like she was at home.

“The bus may be quite empty, her knees/legs may be tired but this is no way to behave in public!

“Gracious society? I think not. Such an inconsiderate act.

“The next unsuspecting commuter will just sit on that seat where her shoes were.

“And I don't think anyone wants to know what her shoes were stepping on before. Yucks.”

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=530 align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>Why can't she just sit properly?

This woman put up her legs while travelling on a bus, forcing a STOMPer to shift to another seat.

She had this to say of the inconsiderate commuter:

"This happened today (Nov 29), at 1:25 pm.

" I was travelling on bus 854 from Yishun to Bedok, and this woman boarded the bus along Hougang and sat next to me.

"Later she lifted up both legs with her bum occupying part of my seat (pushing me away). As a result I had to change to another seat.

"With so many stories of ugly commuters these days, I wonder what has happened to the manners of such people nowadays? Can't they sit properly and behave in public areas instead of creating a nuisance of themselves?

The next time you visit this Changi Airport money changer, don't be surprised if you see our Tamil-speaking friends laughing at this utterly useless sign, spotted by STOMPer Halim.

The Tamil words spell "Foreign Exchange" phonetically, rather than actually translating the words into Tamil.

The sign literally reads "parin eks-change", meaningless gibberish to Tamil speakers.

What this means is that even if you can read Tamil, you still would not understand the sign at all.

Nevr mind about Tamil, try English as written in Singapore, copied in verbatim from a credit card flyer:

"Not valid with other promotions. Log cakes are for take away only and should be ordered at least three days in advance"

Please do not read the above in English, try reading it in Mandarin, and you will understand the English!, uniquely Singapore:D

These are simply stupid people working in sub-human condition !

They end up getting foreigners in here to suppress wages !
