SUPERMARKET thieves have struck for at least the third time in the past week.

Two other thefts were also reported in supermarkets in Clementi and Ang Mo Kio over the past week.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was shopping for groceries with her family at about 7pm, and had placed her handbag in her trolley. She walked away to select more items, leaving her trolley with her two children.
It was when she heard her four-year-old daughter crying that she hurried back.
She then discovered that her handbag, which contained $50 cash, as well as her mobile phone and other personal belongings, had been taken. According to her daughter, the thief looked to be a plump man, about 1.65m tall, and with a dark complexion.
Flower pot ruse
AN UNLOCKED apartment door in Queen Street allowed a thief to steal $6,000 from a 68-year-old woman on Thursday afternoon.
The woman was home at about 2pm that day when she heard a voice from outside her flat telling her that her flower pot had fallen to the floor.
She then went outside to tend to it, leaving the door unlocked. She also saw another flower pot left further along the common corridor, and went to pick that up as well.
It was about 20 minutes later that she remembered she had left her door unlocked, and rushed back to check on her belongings.
She discovered that $6,000 cash had been taken from one of her drawers, as well as some personal belongings.
