【星島日報報道】秀茂坪昨發生攔車斬人案，兩名男子駕乘一房車離開停車場，被三輛私家車前後夾擊撞停，跳出八名口罩蒙面刀手，扑爛房車車窗，斬傷其中乘客逃去，疑涉案其中兩車事後被縱火焚毀滅迹，警方調查期間，意外截獲另一毒品快餐車拘捕兩人，搜出大麻。
八名惡煞截房車斬乘客，警方懷疑涉及黑幫尋仇。前晚十一時許，二十八歲姓葉司機偕二十七歲姓梁友人，到秀茂坪邨商場停車場取回一輛房車離開，當由二樓駛落一樓期間，突被三部私家車前後夾擊撞停，兩人被困車內。
現場消息稱，三車共跳出八名戴口罩兇徒，衝前扑毀事主的房車前座車窗玻璃，揮刀入車廂，斬傷姓梁乘客手部，事後登回私家車逃去，葉未有受傷即報警，傷者送院治療後情況穩定，他們聲稱不明遇襲原因，但警方懷疑與黑幫尋仇有關。
秀茂坪警區反黑組接手調查，在二樓停車場發現一輛車門打開的私家車，懷疑與案有關，遂套取指模蒐證，並揭發它掛上假車牌，警方正聯絡車主了解事件，暫列傷人案，翻查閉路電視追緝兇徒下落。
案發後一小時，三十四歲姓范途人行經青衣青強街近山邊，發現兩男子縱火焚燒一部私家車，再跳上另一私家車逃去，火勢波及山坡雜草，消防到場動用一隊煙帽隊，開一條喉及化學泡沫將火撲滅，認為有可疑，轉交警方調查。
差不多同一時間，元朗米埔青山公路潭尾段一條無名路，三十四歲姓葉途人聽聞巨響，目擊一輛私家車着火焚毀，消防灌救十五分鐘後將火撲滅，相信起火原因有可疑，根據案發時間，警方不排除兩宗縱火燒車，與停車場斬人案有關連。
至昨凌晨一時許，警方在停車場調查斬人案期間，目睹一輛載有兩男子的七人車，在車場一樓兜圈，感到可疑，將其截查，在三十九歲姓羅司機身上搜獲五克大麻，約值一千元，懷疑有人駕車運毒，將司機及乘客一併拘捕扣查，並出動警犬搜車再無發現。
