I knew it, you can tell from her wedding dress–it wasn’t form fitting, it had an ‘extra’ for her tummy. I knew it, but didn’t want to say anything. Shotgun wedding or not, it’s still good news. Congratulations to the happy couple. Paula opened up with Thairath online about the upcoming new edition to her little family.
Thairath: Congratulations, we hear you are pregnant. How many months along are you and when did you find out?
Paula: I just found out I was pregnant and just learned I’m 3 months pregnant.
Thairath: How has your husband been caring for you and where will you give birth?
Paula:When he found out, Ed (Edward) was very happy, crazed, and have been good every day. He has been cooking really well, very delicious. He cooks for me everyday. For this pregnancy, I staying in England and will birth here. Edward is studying here, thus we can take care of each other here.
Thairath: You must be very excited. How have you prepared for your first child and how is your morning sickness?
Paula: I didn’t know of it and I have no symptoms. At that time, I was working normally. I have just learn of it and now have started to take care of myself better.
Thairath: As for your family and husband, how crazed are they [about the baby].?
Paula:Everyone is excited because it is the first grandchild for both my family and his.
Thairath: Are you excited that you are gonna be a mom soon and do you want a girl or boy? And, will you immediately add a second?
Paula: I’m very excited because everything has not been done yet. I have a lot of things to prepare for still. I have started to read on how to care for a child. Boy or a girl, either is fine. As for a second child, we have no plans for that yet. I want to raise this one well first and also I still want to work in the ET industry.
Thairath: Is your decision to move to England to reduce the news about your pregnancy?
Paula: Oh, no, not at all. We had intended to come celebrate New Year’s Eve in England and Ed is still studying here. Since we learned about it here…thus…also I have to live here with him already.
Thairath: Your friends in the ET industry, how excited are they? And who will come visit you in England?
Paula: Everyone knows, everyone is excited. It is the first child in our group and they are starting to plan their visit now.
Thairath: Are you concern about the news that you have just recently got married and is now pregnant?
Paula: Not at all. It is a good thing in both our lives. It is a present for the new year and it is something very good for both our families.
Thairath: After having a child, will you come back to the ET industry again?
Paula: I still want to work in the ET industry, it depends on whether they still want to hire me (laughs).
Thairath: When will you come back to Thailand?
Paula: I still go back and forth. I still have a business to take care of and to finish up uncompleted work.
