Here’s an unusual sight – Paris Hilton cleaning up the streets of Hollywood. Yes, you’ve read this correctly. The socialite has to carry out these actions as part of the part of the 200 hours of community service time she was sentenced to after she pleaded guilty to drug possession.
To refresh your memory, Hilton, 29, was arrested in Las Vegas in August when a bag of cocaine fell out of her purse. She denied that it was hers.
Later she pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors instead and was sentenced to one-year probation, 200 hours' community service, a US$2,000 fine and was ordered to complete a drug abuse programme.
The paparazzi were sent into frenzy when they caught wind of the news that Hilton was going to help the Hollywood Beautification Team to clean buildings and paint over graffiti. It was not just an act. According to the report, the party girl, who was sporting a pair of black heels while doing the job, even cut her finger in the process.
