They may get good grades.. but how fair is the competitiion.. their exam standard and our standard is definitely different. The university is allocating more seats to foreign students.. so as hoping that they will remain in Singapore after they graduate..
but for Singaporean, they know likely we cannot go anywhere.. If we go overseas for education..we will likely come home as our family is here.
Given such situation, it even better for the govt.. they don't subsidized our university education, but we still come back to serve Singapore.. but for the foreigner, the govt sponsor 3 years of their studies and bond them for 3 years.. probably it help to bring another potential citizen to Singapore.
Face the facts.. the goal of Immigration Department is to attract more PR so as to increase our population to 7Million. If they get more productivity, the minister can get paid more.. as their salary is pledge to our GDP...
