A good Samaritan was seen fixing a pothole in the road at Bukit Batok Street 34 on January 30. The STOMPer, who spotted him, was impressed with the kind person's initiative and wishes to commend him.
The STOMPer says that the considerate person’s thoughtful actions should be an example for all Singaporeans to follow.
In an MMS, the sender says:
“This kind person was helping the government mend a pothole, which has been on the road for a few months now, on January 30 2009, at 12:01 am.
“By doing so, he has not only helped to make travelling more convenient for all public users of this road, he also reduced the probability of unnecessary accidents.
“This road is at Bukit Batok Street 34, at the T-junction between Blocks 337 and 338.
“There were still cars travelling on the road while this person worked on fixing the hole. We should acknowledge him and inform the LTA about what he has done.
‘He sets an example by being considerate and thinking for the good of other people. I hope we have more like him in our country.
“I hope good begets good for him! We have to thank him!
“In the picture, you can see that his vehicle number is SBJ2300U.”
