A win is a win even if by 1 vote. After all his years in parliament, Chiam of all people should know that voters generally abhor dynastic succession. That said, Chiam should rest easy and enjoy the remaining days of his life peacefully. Despite my opinion of him, I do acknowledge and salute his effort in looking after the people of Potong Pasir.
