Do you think the govt subsidy is actually an inflated cost that is actually inflated to extremes and then during a certain period they give us a discounted rate and call it a "subsidy" to make it affordable ?
The real subsidy is actually the other way round where the Singaporean subsidise GIC and Temasek losses ?
what do you think ?
Subsidy = inflated costs ?
Bottomline is we do not need any subsidy at all.... if we had transparent cost markups.... or open competition and no monopolys
