PAP dogs failed to sustain Vivian's smear campaign

By now it's quite clear that Vivian's smear campaign against Vincent Wijeysingha and SDP has fizzled out.

In fact, from the very beginning everyone knew it would backfire, but the PAP IBs who have been masquerading as opposition supporters (minus SDP, of course) with occasional criticisms against their PAP masters just to cloak their identity had tried to stoke the fire in this forum.

One PAP IB in this forum had even gone to the stage of asking Vincent Wijeysingha to issue a statement on his view on the age of consent as if he was helping opposition to 'fight fire'. Another PAP IB thought he was clever and joined in the call for Vincent to issue a press statement even after Dr Chee himself had issued a statement on behalf of the party.

It's so easy to spot PAP IBs these days.

Not really leh... although Mr Scroobal moderator sir occasionally comes across as very insistent on his own view... on the whole he appears to be supporting the cause... ie. giving PAP or-bakak... same for Sammyboy although he is more inclined to believe Sinkies peasant are a hopeless lot

btw... VB did achieve his objective... now many of the conservatives hesitate to vote for VW... Opposition should press him to explain how he squandered 300m for YOG

Having argued with Scroobal before, he is downright insistent that his views are correct and he can be very persistent. I see nothing wrong with that and as long as you stick to your guns or it is confirmed what you say is correct, I believe he stands corrected and he will not discuss the matter further. Is that a reason to call him a PAP IB?

even alex au in his blog YB initially suggested that vincent sld come upfront n address this smear...so initially i dont think anyone can be faulted as it was all a matter of perception...as to how much damage has been done...well we shall only know on the 7th...

In his usual condescending manner, he started off boasting his 'higher intellect' by claiming that all Singaporeans missed the 'land mine' and didn't possess enough intelligence to be able to decipher Vivian's coded message since everyone thought it was about gay. He went as far as to say that the statement was crafted by a pro so much so that it was oblivious to ordinary minds, implying that he was extraordinary to have deciphered it.

Well, if Singaporeans did miss the 'land mine', so be it. Why the need to push Vivan's agenda further by making sure that Singaporeans didn't miss the damaging part of the message ?

He is a PAP IB not because he made a wrong judgment. He is a PAP IB because he was helping PAP to stoke the fire in cyberspace. If Vincent had heeded his advice, this matter would surely have been blown out of proportion by PAP.

PAP was waiting for Vincent to delve into the issue of age of consent, and Scroobal did exactly what PAP had wanted Vincent to do.

Scroobal is either stupid or he is a PAP IB.
