Overcharged for cab rides from Ion

http://news.asiaone.com/News/the+Straits+Times/Story/A1Story20100124-194046.html

after reading this,i find that the one who set up the taxi stand there either made a mistake or out of stupidity. the taxi stand is 3 seconds away from Wisma which is inside CBD,do you think a taxi driver will want to wait there during peak hour? I won't.

A poorly written article requiring one to fill in the blanks??

It happened to CK Tang, the authorities refused to allow them to put their parking entrance outside the CBD area. People who wanted to use Tangs parking had to pay $ to enter the CBD area.

btw,is CK Tang considered CBD area? I will put up $3 surcharge if I pick up passengers from Marriot hotel.

Don't know about taking cabs. I was referring to car owners who use CK Tangs parking lot.

Remembered reading about how they lost the fight to be zoned outside the CBD area. This is really a long, long time ago when I bothered to read ST :)
