i noticed that Singaporeans had finally muster enough courage to take a small step towards a vibrant and colorful society. the acceptance of political diversity and tolerance for political dissent played a pivotal role in shaping the direction in which Singapore is heading. as long as the various political parties continue to work hard, they will be victorious in the next GE. the real battle for the Parliamentary seats begins now.
as a biologist at heart, i must draw one's attention to the fact that diversity plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the entire ecosystem. i do not advocate the maintenance of status quo and i'd like to push for a healthy growth of the vibrancy of our political arena. with robust checks and balances, coming from both internal and external, the policies drafted and passed will finally be coming from the people for the people.
