PETALING JAYA: The nation’s first Orang Asli MP has thanked Umno and Barisan Nasional for nominating him as the Dewan Rakyat deputy speaker, saying his candidacy proves that representatives from the community were up for the task.
Ramli Mohd Nor vowed that he would execute the responsibility with integrity and impartiality when presiding over any motion tabled in the interest of the people.
