SG is the only country in the world that the majority can return a treacherous traitor regime to power that hates them so much. Amazing!

SMRT bus driver Zhang Kun, 39, was charged in court yesterday (30 Dec) over a fatal accident at Dairy Farm Road in July 2013.
Zhang is accused of causing the death of a Malaysian, Sasikumar Gunasakaran, 19, by a rash act.
Zhang, a PRC, allegedly drove the SMRT bus at a high speed of 78 kph along the slip road of the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) into Dairy Farm Road. The speed limit is 50 kph.
Zhang supposedly lost control of the bus while making a sharp left bend and veered across the road to the centre divider. The bus hit the road divider and overturned.
He faces another charge of causing hurt to a second passenger, Ramanand Panday.
The dead person was working as a pump attendant in Singapore. He was found crushed between seats at the front of the bus and pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. SCDF officers had to use tools to extricate his body.
A day after the accident, TR Emeritus sent a correspondent down to the accident site to take a look and our findings are documented here (‘Bus overturns: SMRT declines to confirm driver’s nationality but media say he’s from China‘).
According to a media report on 23 July 2013, Zhang said the brakes were not working. He said he braked four times but the brakes failed despite repeated attempts to activate them. He claimed that the bus in fact picked up speed.
He told the media then in Mandarin, “The bus suddenly went crazy, and hurtled towards the road barrier.”
However, on the day that the accident happened, SMRT issued a statement that the bus in question had been given a clean bill of health a month before:
SMRT has a fleet of 1,137 buses, which undergo strict and thorough preventative maintenance checks. These include mandatory LTA inspection repair, as well as predictive and corrective maintenance of components such as braking and steering mechanisms. The bus involved in this morning’s accident was last maintained on June 21, and was given a clean bill of health. No brake or steering related problems were noted during the inspection.
If convicted of causing death by a rash act, Zhang could be jailed for up to five years and fined. For causing hurt, a person can be jailed up to a year and fined $5,000.

It's always a foreigner if the media hesitates or does not want to reveal the nationality. The local mainstream media presstitutes must have received some directive from above to be coy about the offender's nationality in order to 'rein in xenophobia' etc.

He killed an Ah Neh and injured another. Doesn't that mitigate the situation considerably?
