【星島日報報道】天水圍 天壇街東華三院李東海小學，今早約7時多，一名48歲女教師被發現由校內高處墮下，倒臥在操場內，職員發現報警，救護員趕至現場證實女子已當場死亡。警方正調查女事主的墮樓原因。
警員用帳篷遮蓋屍體，由於事發時正值學校上學時間，校方為免師生不安，用圍板將現場遮蔽，消息指死者為學校48歲姓林女教師。其後女教師的胞弟聞訊趕至，有人透露「校長好多無理要求」，疑因工作不開心尋死。之後死者其餘兩名弟妹亦趕至，亦稱：「佢（胞姐）一向與學校關係唔係咁好！」
校方表示，正了解事件，未有詳情透露，校方已啟動危機應變小組，教育局亦派出臨牀心理學家到校，處理校長、教師及學生情緒。
校方對離世的老師深感惋惜及非常難過，並向她的家人致以最深切慰問。指該名教師執教鞭23年，是於1996年入職東華三院姚達之下午校，學校其後改名為東華三院李東海小學，主要負責中文及圖書科。
教育局對事件表示難過，已派員到校支援，學校已啟動危機小組，安排學校社工及教育心理學家，為學生及教職員提供輔導，又指過往沒有收過這名教師的求助。

天水圍一名女教師早上在校園墮樓不治。
小學女教師天水圍校園墮樓亡，今日(6日)早上7時23分，天壇街19號東華三院李東海小學，一名40餘歲女教師，被發現由校內高處墮下，倒臥在操場內昏迷。救護員接報到場，證實女事主已傷重死亡，警方正調查女事主的墮樓原因。由於當時正值上學時間，校方為免引起校內師生不安，遂取來乒乓球枱及圍板將現場遮蔽。
死者的3名胞弟妹，先後趕抵現場協助警方調查，他們驚聞噩耗，均傷心不已，更一度相擁痛哭。據其中一名胞弟向傳媒表示：「佢(死者)就話校長畀咗好多無理要求，畀咗好多壓力佢。」其餘兩名弟妹亦稱，女事主與校方「關係唔好」，懷疑她因此尋死。至早上10時許，死者的遺體由仵工舁走。
東網記者曾致電校方，該校校長在回應時表示正了解事件，詳情未有透露。該校的辦學團體亦派代表到學校了解，據悉，校方會先照顧老師及學生的情緒。教育局亦與校方等啟動危機小組，派出心理專家及社工到學校提供輔導。

黃錦良指，教局將實行「一校兩社工」，建議社工亦可為學校教師提供支援。
小學女教師今早(6日)於天水圍校園墮樓亡，事件引起教育界關注。教聯會主席黃錦良對事件感到相當惋惜，認同教師於工作崗位上需面對多方面壓力，「唔單止係教育學生，仲有行政、同家長溝通等事情要處理」，認為教育局應投放更多資源支援教師情緒問題。
黃續指，教師日常除了要準備教材及教導學生外，更要與家長保持良好溝通及處理行政工作，加上社會對教師要求甚高，種種情況下或為教師帶來無形壓力。教育局將於多間中學實行「一校兩社工」，黃建議社工亦可提供支援予學校教師，「教師身心健康都好重要，因為佢哋係負責教育學生」。
有傳該名小學女教師生前曾向家人透露，校長時常向她提出無理要求，令她倍感壓力。黃認為現不宜評論事件，但教師若遇上任何問題應主動向校長反映，認為「開心見誠咁講係最重要，唔好收收埋埋」。

[Sing Tao Daily News] Li Donghai Primary School, Donghua Third Hospital, Tiantan Street, Tianshuiwei, about 7 o'clock this morning, a 48-year-old female teacher was found lying down from the height of the school and lying in the playground. The staff found the alarm and the ambulanceman arrived. The scene confirmed that the woman had died on the spot. The police are investigating the reasons for the woman’s squatter.
The police used a tent to cover the body. Since the incident occurred at school time, the school was not disturbed by the teachers and students. The scene was covered with a slab. The news indicated that the deceased was a 48-year-old female teacher. Later, the younger brother of the female teacher rushed to the news. Someone revealed that "the principal was so unreasonable to ask for it" and suspected that he was unhappy because of work. After that, the other two younger siblings of the deceased also arrived. It is also said that "the channel (sister) has always had a good relationship with the school!"
The school said that it was understanding the incident. No details were revealed. The school has launched a crisis response team. The Education Bureau also sent clinical psychologists to the school to deal with the mood of principals, teachers and students.
The school deeply regretted and was very saddened by the teacher who passed away, and extended her deepest condolences to her family. The teacher was coached for 23 years. A female teacher in Tin Shui Wai died in the morning on the campus.
