If he did not push out Chiam See Tong, a respected opposition, that caused the opposition credibility to drop to rock bottom with his stupid antics and wayang shows. Chiam may have slowly grown the SDP to 5-10 members of parliament. Now that he has a stroke, too late already. We have Chee Soon Juan to thank for in a strange way for destroying opposition credibility
