Not many cold even afford film cameras, never mind POLAROIDS camera. Film, cannot afford, B&W ones, buy Kodak Instamatic, shoot a roll send to shop, await results of shooting.

Back in the day, if you took naughty photos with your film camera, unless you know the photo developer well, they might call the police.
