In Singapore, it is government policy.
Many Youngsters get $6000 before 30 now, but many can't afford the downpayment for their first condo. Then if they buy a condo, they cannot afford a car.

The baby boomers & Gen X are people that are stupid to buy more than 1 property & yet they cannot afford to own it in long term
