A man suspected to be troubled by the death of his father went on a rampage and dashed onto the roads.

The incident happened at Block 842, Tampines Street 82 on Monday (Oct 30) at around 8pm.

The man was later arrested for attempted suicide after getting pinned down by six officers.

What happened to the truncheons that the mata kias used to hang by their side, plus that whistle? All they need is use it to knock his head, you don't need 6 police to subdue. We are employing too many useless mata kia's....SPF should consider downsizing. All they need is a "few good men/women"..with equipments or a robocop.

Everybody dies. Even when your father dies, there is no need to go on a rampage and dashing onto the roads to attempt suicide. Now kena arrested and cause additional problems for the family. Perhaps they should've let him kill himself. Have two funerals at the same time, save cost.
