Obama shouted Freedom upon reaching PRC, but why NOT in SG?

Why PRC & NOT SG? Why cry FREEDOM only in PRC and not SG? Why Act-Blur while he was in SG?
:mad::rolleyes::mad:

There is MORE Political Freedom in PRC than SG, looking at FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION e.g. Freedom of Assembly & Procession. There are 100K to 200K cases of free assembly and procession held by PRC people every year, in town and cities other than HK & Macau SARs. But there is only tiny Speakers Cornered in SG.

Obama was just here in Red Dot Yesterday when Old Dog Thief also farted about PRC's people's freedom. Which reflected very strongly against Obama's call, but Obama did not responded to Old Dog Thief and turned a blind eye and deaf ears while he was within the Red Dot.

Once he flew to Shanghai today, Obama cried FREEDOM?

He is clearly double-standard regarding political freedom in the world, as usual with so many US presidents and govts.

In China, Obama calls freedoms `universal rights'

By JENNIFER LOVEN, AP White House Correspondent Jennifer Loven, Ap White House Correspondent – 9 mins ago

SHANGHAI – Pressing for freedoms on China's own turf, President Barack Obama said Monday that individual expression is not an American ideal but a universal right that should be available to all.

In his first presidential trip to Asia, Obama lauded cooperative relations with China but sought to send a clear message to his tightly controlled host country. Just as Obama said few problems can be solved unless U.S. and China work together, he prodded China to accept what he called "universal rights."

"We do not seek to impose any system of government on any other nation," Obama said at a town hall at a museum here, believed to be the first such forum held by a U.S. president on Chinese soil. "But we also don't believe that the principles that we stand for are unique to our nation."

He added: "These freedoms of expression, and worship, of access to information and political participation — we believe they are universal rights. They should be available to all people, including ethnic and religious minorities, whether they are in the United States, China or any nation."

Obama sought to find a political balance with China, addressing long-standing U.S. concerns about human rights but extending his hand to a critically important partner on economic and security matters.
。。。。。。。。。

CHINA may not have a democratic system but its people are currently more interested in obtaining higher standards of living than they are in votes and freedom of speech.
That was the point made by Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew on Friday during an exchange with Time International editor Michael Elliott.
The two were speaking during a dialogue at the Apec CEO Summit. Mr Lee was the guest speaker and Mr Elliott was the moderator of the session.

:p:rolleyes:
