The National University of Singapore (NUS) undergrad was allegedly groped by a young man while they were on a bus that runs an internal shuttle service at the Kent Ridge campus on Tuesday.
It is not known if the suspect is a student as members of the public can also take the bus within the campus.
The blog, which was set up that Tuesday by a friend of the victim, read: 'To the molester: If you are reading this, watch out! We will hunt you down! If you are an NUS student, we will make sure we destroy your future!'
The blogger, a 20-year-old student, claimed that the molester had touched her friend at 1.40pm that day, on one of the internal shuttle buses.
There were no other specific details of the incident.
Escaped
She also claimed that the molester later left the bus and fled by taking the lift near the university's Central Library.
The suspect was described as fair-skinned with short hair, about 1.7m tall and wearing a white polo T-shirt and jeans.
In an e-mail sent out by NUS later to inform students of the incident, the molester was further described as being between 25 and 30 years old with black hair. He was also carrying some books, and was last seen taking the lift to Level 4 at Central Library Building around 1.50pm that day.
An NUS spokesman said the alleged victim had made a report to the NUS Campus Security on 2 Sep and had also filed a police report on the same day.
She said that the NUS Campus Security is assisting the police in its investigation, and that security officers and bus drivers on the internal shuttle service have been alerted to keep a lookout.
NUS is reminding students to be alert and to inform Campus Security of any suspicious individuals or incidents.
The spokesman added: 'We would like to seek the assistance of anyone who had witnessed the incident to contact us so as to assist us with the investigation.'
On the blog, there was also an appeal from fellow undergrads for help in nabbing him, and to encourage other victims to come forward with their unfortunate experiences.
The blogger added that the incident affected her friend so badly, she 'could not study well the whole day'.
Since the blog made its rounds in cyberspace, it has stirred a variety of reactions from other NUS students in public forums.
Some commented on why the victim did not raise an alarm and sought help to nab the culprit.
Maisatomai asked: 'At 1.40pm, there are a bunch of students in between these points, so you mean you do not shout?
'At 1.40pm, I sometimes have to queue up for two rounds before I am able to squeeze into the lift. You mean they upgraded the lift yesterday?'
A check with several NUS students revealed that at the time the suspected molester boarded the lift, traffic at the lift was heavy, with several students waiting to use the lift.
The lift can take only around eight people each time, with a three-minute wait being common between trips.
Some students hope that more can be done to catch the culprit.

Another comment by cheersall888 had this suggestion: 'I'm very sure NUS has security cameras. Ask NUS to replay these camera tapes. Perhaps NUS should set a trap to lure and catch this beast.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
