NSP Yip Yew Weng: Radin Mas belong to NSP, RP & SDA should fuck off

THREE opposition parties are refusing to give up their bids for Radin Mas, and a four-cornered fight looms in the single seat ward.

However, Mr Yip Yew Weng, 60, who was unveiled as the National Solidarity Party (NSP) candidate for Radin Mas at a media conference on Tuesday, said the two other opposition candidates should give way and 'not waste their energy and resources'.

The other two are theatre director Alec Tok, 45, vice-chairman of the Reform Party, and businessman Nazem Suki, 42, assistant secretary-general of the Singapore Democratic Alliance (SDA).

Mr Yip, a businessman, said NSP should have first bite at Radin Mas as it has been active there for more than a decade. He also said he stands a higher chance of winning than the duo as he can speak Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese, enabling him to connect well with Radin Mas voters, most of whom he believes are Chinese.

With all the oppositions fighting among each other, Radin Mas is definitely going to end up with PAP winning it. The smack on the face will come when it is announced that they win it with less than 50% of the votes.

This guy contested YCK SMC 2006. After an afternoon break massage and drinking session, he showed up half drunk at YCK CC and picked a quarrel with SHT and was hauled away by police. Result 32%.

I prefer Uncle Yip to lead a team elsewhere. Leave Ah Loong alone. Why? This is my explanation.

Last time Ah Loong only managed 66.6% against a bunch of unknowns. If SL and her Aljunied members had contested Ah Loong, I dare say he might not even smell 60%.

Not sure how MM and GCT fared when they were PMs but I am sure it was either walkover or more than 66.6%. Let Ah Loong hold the record of lowest scored.

Uncle Yip should contest TP. LKY will be in for his last run if he still run this time. So next round, either TP get tear up or a weak TP with no LKY. Either way, TP will be weaker than the past 2 decades of no contest. Uncle Yip and his NSP will then be in the best position to whack the weak new TP and have better chance to win.

But again, maybe this kind of logic is too above the current oppos. I am actually disappointed with a whole bunch of them who cannot think, and even worse when talk.
