The girl at the centre of the Spencer Ng scandal has spoken up about how he held her hand and hugged her, as well as even trying to kiss her at one point.
The National Solidarity Party’s (NSP) Marine Parade GRC candidate Spencer Ng (31) is facing online accusations that he had behaved too intimately and flirted with a female student when he was teaching at a secondary school. Ng denied the accusations, but the female student in question emerged yesterday to give her side of the story.
The 20-year old claimed the incidents happened in 2007, when she was 16 and in Secondary 4. The girl says Ng first contacted her with the intention of inviting her to a sports meet, which the surprised girl politely declined to attend.
She said, “Spencer Ng often stood outside the school gate to catch latecomers. While other latecomers would have to run around the field as punishment, I would usually be let off and asked to sit, unless other teachers were also present.”
“He would often drive me to and from lessons. Once when both of us were late, he suggested skipping the lesson. I saw a doctor and obtained a fake MC. Later on, he drove me home for a change of clothes and we caught a movie.”
She added, “At the cinema, Spencer Ng hugged me and later did it again as we were chatting outside.”
