during my NS time those so called "water polo" or "athlete" can perform with IPPT, but come to actual field activities most of them cannot take the deprive of sleep and mostly selfish with sharing weight of equipment's. maybe one or two is exceptional willing to lead and be lead. NS is a good place to have a glimes of real world with people whom will betray you and people standby you.
I don't mind my kid to be into the most tough camp to have a feel of it, anyway heard after yr-2000 after 2359 is not suppose to deturbed the recruit unless it is schedule in their training and training schedule has to be post on notice board missed those day of standby tooth paste

Can't imagine my taxes going to pay some useless army regulars. Everyone draws a nice fat salary, way above what they can get in private sector. Parking and food in camp are free too.
