KNN, had my notebook upgrade to SSD. now, notebook machiam eat steroids. fucking fast! knn, techonolgy really good.
bought kingston 240 gb one. not much choice over here. but fast lah. hehehehhe
There are reports of SSDs suddenly dying, try to go for more reliable brands.
Use a SSD as your OS boot drive, for storage use a normal mechanical HDD. Anyway, it's still very expensive to have a few Tbs of SSDs as storage.

Get one of those external HDD, A 1 TB external HDD is only about SIN$100.

That's a common misconception. A SSD has no moving mechanical parts. Less prone to errors from bumps or drops.

The problems I heard about is not from physical damage but due to the buggy implementation of the firmware.
