Hokkien is more or less Minnan language, infused with bits of Bahasa and other languages. It's what most of the people in Taiwan speak too.

fujian in mandarin or fuckin in cantonese is hokkien in minnan dialect. similarly fuzhou in mandarin or fuckchow in cantonese is hokchew in minnan dialect and foochow in mindong dialect.
