No more Boeing planes for China

Maybe Scoot will rent C919 thru BOC aero leasing business

No worries, they can convert all to their home made Comac commercial planes...

Boeing has been falling out of the skies. Only Air India (SIA subsidiary) and Taiwan have been forced to buy them

C919 is a Boeing and Airbus killer
The range is too short.
If they have a lr and xlr version, maybe can compete.
Plus US barred GE/P&W from supplying latest engines. Only can supply last generation engines. Hence to get competitive model, must wait china build a good up to date engines. They can easily entice rolls Royce for this as currently Rolls Royce does not manufacture engines for single aisle planes.
Or wait for Russia's PD-14 engines. But Russia had a bad experience supplying jets to china only for it to be copied

Wow… u 真人不露相de woh

Two major issues:-

1. Will Chinese airlines lose their deposits?

2. China also bans the imports of Boeing parts. If this drags, existing Boeing planes flying in China cannot get parts. Insurers will not insure Boeing planes that don't use approved or authorized parts vendors. Without insurance, these planes cannot fly out of China on international routes.

I wonder how are they going to keep their existing Boeing fleet flying if spare parts are banned as well. What a stupid move?

Tiagong Trump is going to retaliate by stopping American engine makers to stop supplying engines for their COMAC planes.

Market Whisper: China Southern is cancelling a few international flights tomorrow, including one out of Singapore.

Great news bro thanks

C919 is almost a replica of Airbus, A320 which is assembled in Shanghai.
C909 is a replica of Boeing or rather mcdonnel Douglas md80 which was also assembled in China.
