KUALA LUMPUR: Nine suspects are expected to be charged today in connection with the Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphones which went missing from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport cargo area last week.
Four of them will be charged with disposing the stolen goods, three for being in possession of stolen goods and two others for having common intention to commit theft and abetment.
Federal Commercial Crime Investigation Department director Datuk Syed Ismail Syed Azizan said the nine are expected to be charged at the Sepang magistrate's court this morning.

Syed Ismail said among those who will be charged are three buyers of the stolen smartphones.
"We are also going for the buyers. Whenever you are approached or offered goods below the market price, be wary as it could be stolen items," he said.
Initial investigation revealed the smartphones which are priced at RM2,299 per unit, was sold for RM1,850 each.
Syed Ismail also said that another suspect who was being sought in connection with this case, surrendered himself to police yesterday, accompanied by a lawyer.
