India's Supreme Court has ruled that the sale of acid needs to be regulated in an attempt to reduce attacks on women.

Laxmi, who was attacked with acid after refusing a marriage proposal, has turned into a full-time campaigner for acid attack victims. She continues to fight for more victims’ rights, including free medical care.
