1) Cut ministers pay and peg it to some index based on the performane of the economy.
2) Cut army officers pay.
3) Cut GST by 2%
4) Lower CPF contribution employee/employer ie more disposable income.
5) Remove airport tax
C'mon all those ministers who are still not retrenched.....think of something innovative ito sustain the economy and stop criticizing on where the minister takes his lunch or dinner.

Last yr 2008 , our defence budget is 10 billion !

Cut the defence budget to 5 Billion and stop buying fanciful weapon. Stop giving the general and major obscene amount of salary ! This will help a lot. Don need to dig into reserve !
