New "green" bungalow cluster launched
Set against a serene backdrop of luscious greenery is one of Singapore’s latest luxury residential developments, Link Residence @ Holland is a cluster of uniquely designed bungalows aimed at providing a cosy respite from fast-paced urban life.
Link Residence @ Holland is helmed by Link (THM) Prestige Homes, which has been responsible for other exquisite residential projects in Astrid Hill, Namly Grove and Linden Drive, among others.
This, however, will be their maiden cluster housing development, built with the aim of providing a unique living arrangement for the affluent family unit.
Link Residence @ Holland was designed by a consortium of renowned architects led by Clement Hendricks.
Each exquisite home unit possesses state of the art home automation system paired with a biometric security system to ensure both convenience and peace of mind.
A personal elevator located within the house takes a family from the carpark to the rooftop kitchen and everything in between with ease and comfort, especially for the elderly or physically-challenged.
The architects diligently minimized the use of raw materials in the design by creating an open-concept where trees rather than walls provide due privacy.
Conserving excess energy used for air-conditioning is a basement swimming pool.
It serves as one of the house’s environmentally friendly features by managing to cool the entire building naturally while its pergola roof allows sunlight to beam down naturally, lighting the subterranean car-park below through its reinforced glass floor.
Another key “green” feature of Link Residence @ Holland is a historic durian tree standing at the centre of the residential compound.
Link (THM) Prestige Homes commissioned Toshiko Horiuchi-MacAdam, a leading Japanese fibre artist to build a colourful structure around the landmark.
It captures falling fruit as well as provides a common area for residents to mingle and children to play.
“While Link Residence @ Holland was built to present owners with style and luxury, we felt that it was just as important to do our part for the environment in light of the threat of global warming.
“As we took the plot of land to build homes, we reciprocated with bountiful flora and fauna and technological expertise to minimize the use of electricity,” said Mr Kenny Tan, Chairman and Director, Link (THM) Group.
Situated along Greenleaf Road, the Link Residence @ Holland estate lies close to Sixth Avenue, Holland Village and the Orchard Road shopping belt.
Also, with several prestigious schools like Henry Park Primary, Hwa Chong Institution and the National University of Singapore situated nearby, it is a perfect location for families with school-going children.
Link Residence @ Holland is officially launched. For more information visit www.linkresidence.com.sg.
