New chairman for MediaCorp

<!-- story content : start --> MR TEO Ming Kian will take over from Mr Ho Kwon Ping as MediaCorp's chairman from July, the group announced on Tuesday. Mr Teo Ming Kian, currently the Permanent Secretary for national research and development in the Prime Minister's Office, and also an advisor of special projects at the Ministry of Finance, has also been appointed a director of the media group. Mr Ho, executive chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings, chairman of the Wah Chang group and also chairman of Singapore Management University, became chairman of the MediaCorp Board of Directors in July 2004. He will step down as MediaCorp chairman at the company's Annual General Meeting in July.
