Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not mince words in response to the Vienna jihad terror attack. He posted on Twitter:

President Reuvin Rivlin stated: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Austria as we follow last night’s despicable terrorist attack in Vienna with concern”

The statements by both the Israeli PM and President carry unique implications. They are issued by leaders of a country that understands firsthand what jihad terror is all about. Israel has signed normalization and peace agreements with Islamic countries that evidently oppose the kind of barbarism, sanctioned under Sharia, that we have recently seen in France and Austria.

The statements by Netanyahu and Rivlin stand apart from those issued by other Western leaders. For example, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron said they were “shocked” by the “Islamist terror” that struck Austria. Israel will certainly not be “shocked” by such behavior.

If Boris Johnson and Emmanuel Macron are really shocked by this, they haven’t been paying attention, and are willfully ignorant and/or misinformed about the motivating ideology behind jihad attacks and the beliefs of large numbers of the Muslims they’re bringing into Europe. And Merkel says “Islamist terror” is Europe’s “common enemy”? Then why has she so indefatigably enabled it, and why have they all done so, by bringing massive numbers of Muslims, among whom will inevitably be some Islamic jihadis, into their countries?

Israel is one country that understands jihad terror, and has been fighting it since 1948. Israel is still fighting for its very existence 72 years later; even today, the Palestinians’ “pay for slay” program pays jihadis to murder Israeli citizens. There are ongoing jihad attacks — including stabbings and rocket-firings. The efforts to obliterate Israel are backed up in the Charters of the leading Palestinian groups, and justified by the United Nations, which frequently behaves as if it does not recognize Israel’s right to defend itself from jihad attacks. The UN also refers to Israel, wrongly, as an illegal “occupier.” Meanwhile, Iran also has ambitions to obliterate Israel and funds jihad groups that work toward this goal, including Hamas and Hizballah, and Turkey’s hatred of Israel is no secret.

It is also worth keeping in mind Iran’s reaction to its Muslim neighbors that normalized relations with Israel. Iran threatened the UAE and Bahrain, and issued a “Revolutionary Guard’s threat that ‘the Zionist regime’ will be destroyed at the hands of ‘pious Muslim youth.’” Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani also warned of “bloodshed” over the cartoons, and claimed that “every single European is in debt to the Prophet.”

Also, the UN Alliance of Civilizations condemned the Muhammad cartoons, stating that they “provoked acts of violence against innocent civilians.” What they were really doing was justifying violence in response to things that offend Muslims. Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau did essentially the same thing.

Unlike globalist Western states that posture and appease, Netanyahu’s condemnation is genuine.
