Stripper Holly Jaswal claims she was racially abused
A naked stripper used a stiletto heel as a weapon to floor a pub landlord and his wife after she was accused of being drunk, a court has heard.
Holly Jaswal snapped and attacked the pair at the end of her set when she was told they would not want her back.
Landlord David O’Brien was left with a swollen left eye and his wife, Toni, was knocked out before customers managed to restrain the naked ‘erotic dancer’, the court was told.
Landlord Mr O’Brien told the jury: ‘I nearly lost the sight of an eye. This whole incident cost me my business.
‘It shattered my confidence. It affected my wife the same way.’
The O’Briens ran the Crown pub in Knaphill, near Woking in Surrey, for two years.
They had strippers in twice a week. It has since been closed. In July last year, punters told them Jaswal ‘was hammered’ and she was dancing barefoot as she could not get her shoes on.
At the end of her set, Mr O’Brien, 43, told her he would not book her again. He said he then felt a searing pain in his eye.
By the end of the melee, the floor was stained with his blood and his wife’s blood.
‘Toni was unconscious for up to two minutes,’ he told the court.
‘The stiletto heel was used as a weapon.’
During the brawl, Jaswal allegedly shouted at Mrs O’Brien: ‘It’s no wonder, looking at the state of you, that your husband flirts with other girls.’
Jurors heard Jaswal, 23, from Brighton, admitted drinking but said it did not affect her. She claimed Mrs O’Brien had racially abused her.
She denies two charges of assault causing actual bodily harm and says she acted in self-defence. The trial at Guildford crown court continues.
