Naked African woman causes stir in Cheras

A NAKED African woman caused a stir at a junction near Taman Cheras on Monday, reported Harian Metro.

Mohd Ghani Mohd Ismail, 29, who witnessed the incident, said he was shocked to see the naked woman who was jumping and shouting by the roadside on the Middle Ring Road 2 at around 12.30pm.

Policemen tried reasoning and ordered her to put her clothes back on but to no avail.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, acted like she was possessed and shouted in a foreign language before she “fainted”.

A few minutes later, she got up and streaked around the area before another woman, who was a customer at the restaurant, convinced her to dress up.

After the drama, the woman is believed to been taken in a police patrol car to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre for a medical check-up.

> The daily also reported that police believe the naked African woman who caused a stir in Cheras recently was not suffering from mental problems but was high on drugs after one of the packets of drugs she swallowed burst.

Police sources said this was revealed in an X-ray of her abdomen which was taken after she was sent to Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for “abnormal behaviour”.

Police believe the woman was used as a “mule” by a syndicate to smuggle drugs into the country and had swallowed several thumb-sized packets of heroin.

The daily had earlier reported that a naked woman, believed to be in her 20s, was seen jumping and shouting by the roadside on the Middle Ring Road 2 at around 12.30pm on Monday.
