Nabbed - man who swallowed drugs
KUCHING: A 35-year-old man from Penang who tried to swallow five plastic packets containing a substance believed to be drugs was arrested by police here. He was arrested at around midnight near a pub at Jalan Tun Jugah here when police, acting on a public tip-off, approached the man who was behaving suspiciously in a car. The man is said to have put the packets into his mouth and tried to flee from the car. Three of the packets were broken when he chewed on it. He had consumed the substance inside and was sent to the hospital.
