Despite a series of economic reforms, Myanmar continues to suffer from high youth unemployment.

Most big business dried up under almost 50 years of army rule and the resulting international economic sanctions.

As host of the World Economic Forum on East Asia, the country is hoping show much it has opened up to the world over the past couple of years.
