Fireworks in the room as Tan Jee Say grabbed Tony Tan by the balls as they clashed about the Govt's Internal Security Act.. Well Done.. Bravo... Round 1 goes to Jee Say..

Tan Jee Say 1 Tony 0.

As TJS said earlier, we must not have a timid president.

I think Jee Say could handle better, he got a valid reason to rebutt TT, but credit to Jee Say :)

TT never answered the lady's question. In fact, if you read between the lines of what he has said, he was actually admitting that the ISA was ABused! Notice how he began by saying that the ISA is a blunt instrument? That means that innocent citizens could be arrested and detained wrongfully. It's like an area target, not point target, where a wider area can be hit including ordinary civilians. Evil regimes called them collateral. The so-called detainees were in fact collaterals in the wider fight between the PAP and the pro-Commmunists.

What sort of moderator is that ...he stop TJS for saying that ISA was used on political opponents of PAP and then he acted as if he had given TJS the chance to speak more by asking "is there anything you want to say?"

Shit, does that mean as long as TJS say it to back TT then it is OK to proceed on?

Why the moderator did not just allow then two PE candidates to debate out the issue. Was the ISA used on political opponents of PAP?!

Cos in the FAP's context, the moderator's job is to shackle the non-FAP candidates.

Tan Jee Say's campaign poster being vandalised at Chulia St... PAP dogs running wild...

If Tony Tan poster has been vandalised , will they say TJS is behind it ?

ISA Is a blunt instrument , it correct. It a area target, not a point target !

TT is wrong to hijack TJS comment. Because when TT speak others listen . TT should keep quite let TJS continue because everyone have chance to voice their view.
Well done TJS but if he have behave better like. Like saying
" Mr. TT is my turn to speak let me finnish 1st if you dont like it, then you can comment . Thank you"
This will bring down TT rating further.
