A car crashed outside a primary school in central China's Hunan province on Nov. 19, leaving multiple students injured, reported Chinese state media CCTV, according to AFP.
"Many schoolchildren were injured, the specific casualties are being investigated," state broadcaster CCTV reported.

It was not stated if the crash was deliberate.

Aftermath

The crash occurred outside Yong'an Primary School in the city of Changde.
Videos circulating online showed children running away from the site of the crash.
Bags, papers, and other personal belongings were strewn all over the road.
Bodies laid on the ground.
One boy was heard screaming, "Save me! Save me!", in Mandarin as he ran into the school.

According to AFP, one video circulating on Chinese social media showed a bloodied man being beaten with sticks by passersby as he laid on the ground next to a sports utility vehicle (SUV).

Several incidents in past week

There has been several mass casualty incidents in recent weeks in China.

On Nov. 11, 35 people were killed after a man rammed his car into a crowd in the southern city of Zhuhai — the deadliest attack in the country in a decade.
Police said the man had been upset about how his assets were split in his divorce settlement.
Just a few days later on Nov. 16, eight people were killed and 17 others wounded in a knife attack at Wuxi Vocational College of Arts and Technology in Yixing, Jiangsu.
The suspect, a former student of the school, was reportedly angry because he did not receive his graduation certificate and pay, and had failed an exam

Expect more of these incidents as China's economy goes tits up.

Even the modern cities like Shanghai willl not be spared from these incidents. In fact, there can be greater carnage in a densely populated urban area.
