Most importantly we will value our jobs for we will NEVER get such jobs in Malaysia at the pay level in Singapore. As a general rule of thumb you get paid about three times more in ringgit terms for the a job in Singapore compared to similar jobs in Malaysia. My friend used to earn RM6000 a month working for ST Microelectronics now he is drawing RM16,000 a month not counting profit sharing at Infineon.
